A Changed Life

The Testimony of Walter Green

I have been going to church since childhood, but the time that I came to know the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior was in the summer of 1976. Some friends, family, and I were on our way to play basketball when we came across a tent set up on the street corner. I received Jesus in my heart that very day. I would like to say that I have been walking with Him faithfully since then, but I truly can't say that.

A Willing Worker

After a cold and dreary winter, how refreshing to drive into the Mission parking lot and see beautiful blooms of purple, yellow, and orange peeking through the melting snow. The flowers, donated to the Mission by the City Parks and Recreation Department, were planted by Tom Hester, a Mission resident. Tom loves to work outside and enjoys seeing the results of his hard work.

A New Life in Christ

The Testimonial of Charles King

I was born and raised in Winston-Salem and have lived most of my life here. Growing up as a child, I was taught right from wrong by my parents. I was raised in church and knew about God from an early age. We were not a rich family, but the love of my parents made up for any lack of material possessions in my life. School was easy for me, and I made good grades with very little study or effort. All through my childhood and teen years, I did not have a care in the world.
