The Life-Builders’ program is designed to help men overcome their addictions and gain the tools required to become productive members of society. Through work therapy, and programs in Anger Management, Financial Management, Life Skills, Crossroads and the Victorious Life, residents are taught recovery principles, as well as the skills needed to make positive changes in their lives. By participating in daily devotions, chapel services and one-on-one and group counseling, residents are presented with the truth of the Gospel and taught how to live a successful Christian life.
Residents who complete the Life Builders program become potential candidates for the 12-month Transformers Program.
We seek to build the individual in their physical, emotional, spiritual and mental faculties while sharing the love of Jesus and the Gospel with them.
The Rescue Mission helps men off the streets and transforms them into productive citizens in the city. Therefore, the Rescue Mission seeks support from the city of Winston-Salem, its citizens, churches, business establishments and government structure. Each time the Rescue Mission builds a life for Jesus, we are improving the quality of life in the city.
