Case Manager III – Full Time
Responsible for the oversight of the residents living in the mission building and any activities. Click for more info!
Evening Supervisor – Full Time
Responsible for overseeing the Transformers Program residents during the afternoon/evening hours after the day staff have left work. Click for more info!
Kitchen Assistant – Full Time
Assist Food Service Manager with daily operation of the kitchen area, which includes cooking, storage and refrigeration units, dining room and connecting hallways, and related storage areas in other buildings. Click for more info!
Grant Writer – Full Time
The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills, strategic planning abilities, and experience in fundraising. Click for more info!
Maintenance Assistant – Full Time
Assist and support the Maintenance Supervisor with ongoing and preventative maintenance for the entire WSRM campus, including building and grounds. Click for more info!
Store Merchandiser – Part Time
Assist the store operations in processing items including clothing, novelty and furniture items. Winston-Salem Rescue Mission Thrift Store always strives to increase sales needed to help fund the operating expenses of WSRM. Click for more info!
Truck Driver – Full Time
Under the supervision and direction of the Logistics Supervisor, safely and courteously pick up donations from designated donors and deliver to WSRM, and also deliver purchases made in the Thrift Store. Click for more info!
Weekend Monitor – Full Time
Ensure the safety, security and well-being of residents and property during assigned hours. Property includes interior and exterior of Residential Program buildings, both Life Builders Center and New Life Center. Click for more info!
Program Transportation Specialist – Full Time
The Program Transportation Specialist is responsible for transporting Residents currently enrolled in the WSRM’s men’s residential programs, as assigned by their case managers. Click for more info!
Executive Administrative Assistant – Full Time
Provides essential, administrative support to the Executive Director and Leadership Team, enabling the Mission to move forward effectively in ministry. Requires a high level of initiative and independent work ability, professionalism, and organization. Assure discreet handling of all business and always maintain confidentiality. Click for more info!
Volunteer Coordinator – Full Time
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the successful coordination, monitoring and execution of a robust volunteer program at the WSRM. This individual will work closely with the Community Relations Manager to oversee the volunteer program, identify needs for volunteers, recruit volunteers, assign volunteers to assist with WSRM needs, and keep accurate records of volunteer participation. Thrift Store Cashier – Part Time
Assist WSRM Thrift Store customers by ringing up their purchases and providing excellent customer service. Responsible to oversee the front-end and merchandise displays. Works with customers to resolve customer service issues. Click for more info!
Night Security – Full Time
Ensure the safety, security and well-being of residents and property during overnight hours. Property includes: Mission building housing 90-day program (interior and exterior); and exterior perimeter only of all other Mission buildings and properties located in downtown Winston-Salem.
