GUIDELINES FOR DONATED GOODS

Can I claim a tax deduction on my donated goods to the Rescue Mission?

Yes. The Winston-Salem Rescue Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions, including doated goods, may be claimed as deductions on your federal tax return, if you itemize.

I want to bring my donation to the Mission?

You can bring your donations to 715 N. Cherry Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 from 9am to 3pm Monday-Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturday.

Why should I donate my goods to the Rescue Mission?

All proceeds from the store go directly back to the WS Rescue Mission to provide food, clothing, shelter and Christ-centered recover for addictions.

WHAT IS THE WINSTON-SALEM RESCUE MISSION?

We are a non-denominational Christian ministry meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of hurting people in the Triad area, so that we may proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and bring glory to God.

We offer recovery programs to men in need of life change.

We feed and clothe individuals and families in need.

We offer free medical and dental clinics.

We offer several opportunities for anyone who wishes to serve others.
