Chief Philanthropic Officer (FT)
The Chief Philanthropic Officer (CPO) provides strategic leadership for all fundraising efforts at the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission. In close partnership with the Director of Development, the CPO drives major gift growth, cultivates new donor relationships, and collaborates on the implementation of a moves management program to deepen engagement and elevate mid-level and major donors. This role also guides board involvement in philanthropy, ensures strong departmental infrastructure, and supports planning for a future capital campaign. The ideal candidate is a seasoned fundraising professional who is both strategic and relational, passionate about the Mission’s Christ-centered work, and committed to supporting the life transformation of men in recovery. Addiction & Recovery Intake Administrative Assistant (PT)
This position will provide support for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission Programs department. Programs is dedicated to helping men seeking to be free from drug and alcohol addictions as well as other life struggles. The Programs Intake Administrative Assistant will work closely with Program management and staff, and is instrumental in the success of the intake process, work therapy, and other administrative tasks.Click for more info!
Marketing and Events Coordinator (PT)
Reporting directly to the Director of Development, the Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a dual role: (1) providing marketing and social media support to advance the mission of the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission (WSRM), and (2) planning and executing events and other donor engagement activities to support the Development department’s fundraising goals.Click for more info!
Stewardship & Grants Coordinator (FT)
The Stewardship & Grants Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Major Donor Officer to secure gifts for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission. This role involves cultivating, stewarding, and retaining mid-level donors while identifying those with the potential to increase their level of giving.
In addition, the position is responsible for aspects of the grant program including performing research of potential funding sources, gathering internal data, writing grant funding proposals, tracking grant awards, and completing reports for grantors.
Cultivation, stewardship, and retention activities will focus on these key groups:
• Mid-level donor relationships
• Grant and special project funders, including foundations, corporate donor, and churches.

Truck Helper (FT)
Under the supervision and direction of the assigned WSRM Truck Driver, safely and courteously assist with pick-ups and deliveries between Donors, Thrift Store buyers, and WSRM..Click for more info!
Kitchen Assistant (FT)
Assist Food Service Manager with daily operation of the kitchen area, which includes cooking, storage and refrigeration units, dining room and connecting hallways, and related storage areas in other buildings. Click for more info!
